With
banners and placards on show, it seemes passers by were more than happy
to see us. The same cannot be said for QinetiQ, who spent hours trying
to find a way of sneaking out of the site.
They are clearly ashamed of what they are involved in, and don't want
to be named and shamed for killing dozens of goats in cruel, useless
experiments. Eventually, after hiding behind porter cabins, and running
off whenever any protestor looked in their direction, one van zoomed
out of the site, with its number plate covered in black tape.
Then a security guard snuck out and returned with a car, which quickly filled with workers, who again left the site rather rapidly. After seeing another vehicle leave with covered number plates, the site looked pretty empty, so we left for the day.
